About

The WER1 Way

Forged through adversity. Driven by the process. United in the pursuit of winning.

Our mission

Don’t be good, be great. To create a community and culture of young athletes that understand what it takes to be great. WeR1 is a family, we take care of everyone.

What we expect

  • Be Coachable

Listen, work, accept feedback. The players who get the most out of the program are the ones who never stop being students.

  • Uphold the Standard

Effort over skill. We can develop skill. Heart, hunger, and toughness must come from you.

  • Be Resilient

90% effort means you are only halfway there. The bar moves up. We meet it.

Development pillars

Built for the game, not just the drill.

We treat skill as something an athlete uses under pressure. The goal isn’t a player who looks sharp in a line. It’s a player who can create, connect, defend, and adapt when the game speeds up.

  • 01

    Skill Transfer

We train against pressure, timing, space, and defenders so the reps survive the game.

  • 02

    Basketball IQ

Players learn to read advantages, recognize when one’s there, and choose a solution instead of memorizing a move.

  • 03

    Competitive Habits

Communicate. Compete. Adjust. Respond after a mistake. Every rep carries weight.

  • 04

    Team Growth

Spacing, timing, passing, and defensive awareness are shared. We develop in groups because that’s how the game is played.
